Biography I hold a PhD in International Relations from Fudan University and did postdocs at Yale (2010-11), Oxford (2012-13), and Princeton (2013-14). Before joining Salford in 2020 as a tenured Lecturer in International Relations, I was an Assistant Professor at Aalborg University in Denmark (2015-19) and a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (2014-15).
Research Interests • China and India’s foreign policy, energy security and climate policy/diplomacy, nuclear nonproliferation and export control policy
• Global Environmental Governance

Currently, I am working on my new book project on Chinese foreign policy towards the Arctic based on one of my articles published in the Journal of Contemporary China.
Teaching and Learning I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
