Abstract
Cacajao melanocephalus melanocephalus, a subspecies of black uakari, was thought to be restricted to southern Venezuela. Observations of two groups of them in Pico da Neblina National Park, Brazil, suggest that its distribution should be extended to the Brazilian territory.
