Abstract

In this article, the two important roles of manager and leader
within the workplace will be examined. The differences between
the two terms will be discussed, and it will be demonstrated that
everyone, no matter their official job role, can be a leader. Support
staff play a vital role in supporting and assisting managers and
leaders in the smooth running of the care setting for the benefit
of all patients/clients, families/carers and staff in the delivery of
high quality care.
