Abstract
Qualitative research exploring parents’ experiences in the neonatal setting often focuses primarily on the mother and fathers’ voices are often under-reported. How fatherhood is understood and nurtured in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) can depend on a number of factors, including the individual differences between fathers and the local culture in the NICU.
