Abstract

This executive summary provides the north housing market area Gypsy and Traveller accommodation needs assessment. A number of local authorities across the North Housing Market area (East Staffordshire Borough, Newcastle under Lyme Borough, Stafford Borough, Staffordshire Moorlands District and Stoke-on-Trent City) commissioned this assessment of Gypsy and Traveller accommodation in November 2006. The study was conducted by a team of researchers from the Salford Housing & Urban Studies Unit at the University of Salford and assisted by staff at the Centre for Urban and
Regional Research at the University of Birmingham.
