Abstract
The objective of this paper is to propose the use of a multi agent approach as a knowledge management system in a technology service provider (TSP) environment. The TSP shall ensure that the services provided are reliable and trustworthy to sustain in a competitive technology market. This is achieved by possessing a fleet of expert intellectual professionals who can diligently provide the required services to the clients. Hence, the retention of intellectual capital is crucial to succeed and sustain. Labor mobility presents a problem for TSPs who depend mainly on knowledge workers to provide its core business services. As when these knowledge-based resources leave their jobs they take the knowledge of organizational intellectual work with them. Hence, it is crucial for these TSPs to deploy necessary mechanisms to preserve and manage the organizational knowledge and knowhow to address the labor mobility problem. This study will detail out the solution and the implementation plan to address the labor mobility problem.
