Authors
Abstract
In house garden system are used in offices, work places and homes to increase the aesthetics, elicit pleasure which in turn increase our experience qualitatively to keep ourselves energetic and fresh from mundane jobs. These plants clean the air naturally, increase oxygen level, reduce stress and keep dust level down. Most often we find the in house plants may die due to many reasons like lack of water, lack of sunlight and lack of maintenance. As a part of home automation this paper presents the design of a smart in house garden system using Arduino and Fritzing. It also use solar panel to power the sensors, relays and pumps to water the plants based on the moisture content in the soil and outside temperature. This automated system is designed to operate as a standalone system to maintain the garden efficiently to increase the life of plants and also human beings.
