Abstract

Postgraduate students often face significant challenges during their transition into higher education, including socio-cognitive stressors, cultural shock, and the balancing of academic and personal responsibilities. Further to this they are often juggling additional commitments alongside their studies, which can impact their academic transition. Postgraduate students bring a wealth of experience and diverse backgrounds which can enhance their learning, and a supported transition to the postgraduate journey should enable students to reach their full potential.

This online digital ThingLink platform provides comprehensive support for postgraduate learners on their journey to success within the Directorate of Allied and Public Health, as well as the wider University community. Accessible via mobile and computer devices, the Pathway to Postgraduate Success ThingLink offers guidance and direction, connecting learners to online support services and instructional media. It assists with academic, social, financial, and well-being needs, helping students navigate life and study in the UK.

We want to acknowledge Patience Kaunda's contribution to supporting the development of content elements within Thinglink.
