A KRONA plot displaying the relative abundance of bacteria identified in three pooled samples (Select the sample in the top left):
Pooled mouth samples from volunteers donating samples at Latitude Music Festival (mouth.fastq.out.cut).
Pooled skin samples from volunteers donating samples at Latitude Music Festival (skin.fastq.out.cut).
A pooled sample of sludge, mid-treatment, and treated wastewater from Bolton wastewater treatment plant (United Utilities); (wastewater.fastq.out.cut).
In each case, DNA from the samples was extracted using commercial DNA extraction kits (Qiagen) and the 16S gene amplified by Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and sequenced using Oxford Nanopore reagents and MinION device.
