Making Sense of Sounds: valence and arousal scores

Abstract

Valence and arousal scores for affect-judgments taken from Warriner et al. (2013). Note that the descriptive words 'howling', 'strained', 'threatening', and 'unsettled' were not included in Warriner et al. (2013) so the scores for 'howl', 'strain', 'threat', and 'restless' were used instead.
