Biography | I am a passionate and dedicated midwifery lecturer with a specialised interest in bereavement education. With a career spanning over two decades, I have dedicated much of my career to improving the support provided to families experiencing loss and ensuring that student midwives are well-prepared to handle these delicate situations with empathy and professionalism. I have a specific interest in using simulation to prepare students to care for bereaved parents in the clinical setting |

Research Interests | My research interests include bereavement education using high-fidelity simulation, developing student midwives' skills in respectful bereavement care using simulation. I have also a specific interest in infant feeding and baby friendly accreditation |
Teaching and Learning | I have extensive experience of teaching and assessing in midwifery education including supervision of students at Masters and Phd level . I was previously a programme leader for many years and have experience of curriculum development and programme revalidation. |
