Abstract
Describe the overall functions of the neurological system, and detail the nervous system considering their key functions
• Provide an explanation for the normal and abnormal changes that can occur in the nervous system
• Gain an insight into some common neurological conditions
• Be aware of the various components of a neurological assessment
• List important investigations required to diagnose neurological conditions
• Outline the medical and nursing management of common neurological disorders
