Abstract

Aims of the chapter -
After reading this chapter you will be able to:

Describe the differences between leadership and management and their relevance to transition
Examine what is meant by clinical leadership
Explore the NHS Healthcare Leadership Model, and other self-assessment tools that help promote effective leadership development
Undertake a SWOT Analysis to provide a visual map of the information generated from the self-assessment
Create a transition focused personal development plan based on the content of the self-assessment and SWOT analysis
