Abstract
This paper to presents some of the findings of the POCARIM (Mapping the Population, Careers, Mobilities and Impacts of Advanced Research Degree Graduates in the Social Sciences and Humanities)study. It reports in particular on the implications of three types of mobility for the career paths of doctoral candidates and early-career researchers.
