Abstract
In They Live (in Second Life) Paul Sermon merges the virtual space of 'Second Life' with the real space of the festival venue, recreating an augmentation of the Futuresonic venue within Second Life, and creating a feedback loop with video feeds. This will allow 'first life' visitors and 'second life' avatars to coexist and share the venue in a live interactive public video installation.
