This report was commissioned by Scottish Government and written in partnership with the Autonomy Institute. It examines the prospect of a four-day week in the Scottish private sector including:

- A presentation of practical implementation examples
- An appraisal of previous four-day week initiatives from the vantage point of Scotland's Fair Work principles
- A macro-level analysis of the Scottish labour market and its 'readiness' for a four-day working week
