An analysis of women's issues in sex and love addiction recovery is based on case study analysis of individual psychotherapy cases and group psychotherapy sessions for female sex and love addicts who participated in an intensive sex and love addiction outpatient programme. Separation-individuation issues, multiple addictions, resistance to treatment, and distinctions between sex and love addiction are discussed along with challenges for therapists working with this population.
