This is a short trailer illustrating the Virtual Amazon rain-forest built in CryEngine for the interactive & immersive installation suite, as part of Planet Parliament Now! , which was a day of participative theatre for students aged 16-18 from sixth forms and further education colleges in the Greater Manchester area.
The immersive simulation room at the University of Salford allows users to be transported to any environment without having to leave the suite. The technology combines a series of cameras which project realistic images onto the walls, with audio equipment to transform the space into Virtual rain forest.
