Abstract
Individuals with DCD can experience barriers to social, academic, and career success which impact quality of life for children with DCD and their families and persists into adulthood . This can negatively impact mental health . NHS resources are not always accessible, yet low-cost community interventions can improve mental health, although not widely used.
Research question: Can co-productive research design identify and make accessible low-cost interventions to improve mental health for people with DCD and under-served populations?
Method/Results: A network event advertised using Eventbrite for clinical and academic professionals, 3rd sector organisations and people with lived experience. Panel discussion, art and break out groups involving co-productive design were used to identify research priorities, resources and projects. Initial results will be discussed. The aim is to develop future bids for investigation.
Conclusion: There is potential for collaborative network to identify research priorities that may influence policy.
