Biography A Lecturer on University of Salford's Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies MSc and PgDip.
Prior to this role, gained experience in a variety of clinical leadership positions both within Manchester's busy IAPT services, and within Early Intervention Team, for individuals suffering with psychosis.
As well as an Accredited CBT Psychotherapist, a qualified Mindfulness teacher following a years study with Mind in Salford. Continuing to provide both Mindfulness and CBT psychotherapy with a thriving private practice.
Open to supporting research in the areas of mental health, Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBT) and in particular how to increase access to therapy for marginalised populations. Current research interest in improving access of trauma psychotherapy for the local sex worker population.

Research Interests I am interested in adding to Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy research outputs, particularly in Narrative Exposure Therapy and the impact of the intervention on mental health and crime reporting.
Specifically, I am interested in working with the sex worker population in Manchester.
Teaching and Learning Currently teaching on University of Salford's Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy PgDip and Msc courses.
