Biography | Natalie is a senior lecturer in Nursing and the International Lead for the School of Health and Society in the United Kingdom. In her leadership role Natalie supports colleagues and students in the development of international educational partnerships and opportunities for knowledge transfer. Natalie teaches nurses, Drs and allied health professionals on the Master’s in Nursing and Master’s in Healthcare Leadership. Natalie also supervises and examines PhD studies. Her undergraduate education responsibilities follow the same areas of interest in research and leadership development. Natalie is also an executive coach; in this role she has coached National Health Service leaders in the UK during and following the COVID pandemic. As a lead facilitator in three World Health Organisation/ Health Education England global programmes for work force development Natalie has gained experience coaching executive level and Ministry of Health leaders in five countries. Natalie’s PhD explored ‘How to enhance meaning and purpose in life in nursing home life’. Natalie has delivered CPD programmes on leadership in Saudi Arabia for the Saudi Patient Safety Centre and for the International Ocean Institute in Malta. Natalie also regularly delivers an online programme to student nurses in China which focuses on global issues in nursing. Natalie has recently undertaken work as a consultant for an Australian dementia care organisation; as such she has been involved in the evaluation of dementia services at a national level and supporting the translation of specialist dementia care knowledge into practice. |
