Biography Angela is a lecturer in ultrasound at the University of Salford and a qualified sonographer. She has worked at the university for approx. 14 years and worked one day a week at the university and was in clinical practice 4 days a week as a clinical lead. In 2019 she changed it around and came to work 3 days a week at the university and was clinical on a locum basis. She has worked with several programme leaders and contributed to many changes over the years. Recently she completed a full programme review to ensure the programme was fit for purpose and at the same time secured accreditation to an external organisation called CASE to keep standards for ultrasound education to a high level.
Angela is the lead for a Point of care ultrasound project run jointly with an external charity (Worldwide radiology) delivering ultrasound training to doctors in Ghana. She has an interest in overseas development in low resource setting countries and especially in developing training for medical imaging.
In terms of undergraduate responsibilities; Angela delivers teaching on any module when specific ultrasound teaching is needed but is committed to encouraging an interest in ultrasound and supporting students to scan at a high level of competency.

Any teaching relating to ultrasound on UG modules and on other programmes including Sports Rehabilitation
