Teaching and Learning | Midwifery and Neonatal Care of the Newborn – Newborn Care of the healthy newborn baby through to the unwell baby, the baby requiring admission to the neonatal unit, the baby receiving specialised care on the neonatal intensive care. Teaching is delivered in both pre-registration midwifery programmes, post RN midwifery programme. (Level 4, 5, 6) Post Qualify students undertaking their Qualification in speciality through the completion of Emergency and Intensive care of the Newborn module. Examination of the Newborn / NIPE Module teaching Advanced Neonatal Nurses Programme – Infant Mental Health and NICU – Perinatal Mental Health Module.
