| Description | Vulnerability reduction and improving coping mechanisms to sustain livelihoods: Coping with climate variability and consideration of socio-economic impacts on communities engaged in agriculture. Following on from our GCRF funded TRANSCEND project, we are transferring knowledge, generating more nuanced methods of adaptation against climate variability and developing more localised coping mechanisms for communities in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka so that they are able to sustain their livelihoods and develop resilience against climate variability and climate change. |
