Mr Sami Safadi
Biography | I have been working in HE for about 15 years in different countries and institutions. My experience over the years has encompassed QA in HE, EFL/ESL/EAP, learner academic development, learner research skills, inclusivity in HE, decolonising HE, professional development, enhancing student experience and belonging, and data-led decision making in HE. My educational philosophy centres around my belief that education is activism, and only through engaging in decolonial approaches to knowledge and education will be achieve a truly equitable and just education system from research to teaching. This has led me to develop a course and approach of Decolonising through Reflexive Practice to support academics in decolonising themselves first, then practice and research. |
