Biography | Mustapha is a Lecturer in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Digital Technology at the School of Science, Engineering and Environment. He is an experienced academic and researcher specialising in digital transformation, BIM implementation, asset management and value realisation for AEC Clients. Mustapha’s research focuses on the integration of BIM, digitalisation, and sustainability within the built environment. His work explores how digital tools can drive sustainable outcomes across the lifecycle of buildings and infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on facility and asset management. He is also interested in project management strategies that enable value realisation, using digital transformation to optimise decision-making and operational efficiency. He supervises research in areas aligned with his expertise, including BIM implementation, digital transformation in construction, and the management of built assets and facilities. |
