Dr Kaveh Kiani
| Biography | With a doctoral degree in Applied Statistics and an additional master's degree in data science, Kaveh Kiani boasts proficiency across diverse domains. His research interest is concentrated on computer vision, big data analytics, the application of generative AI in education and survival analysis. With a rich 15-year background in the industry, he has amassed considerable expertise in Official Statistics and large-scale Register-based Statistical Systems, along with Statistical Systems of large organisations. Kaveh has successfully mentored numerous PhD and MSc students in their dissertation projects. He has published numerous impactful papers in peer-reviewed journals. The Royal Academy of Engineering has endorsed Kaveh as a Global Talent in the field of Data Science. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) awarded by Advance HE. Also, he has obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP). |
