Biography Stacey Munnelly is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner with 20 years experience as a Gastroenterology Nurse. She completed a master’s degree in advanced clinical practice in 2016 and is a non-medical prescriber. In her clinical role she works at the large regional tertiary Gastroenterology centre- Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT). She is passionate about improving care for patients through education and research. Stacey holds a joint role as an Associate Lecturer Practitioner for Salford University, delivering a master’s programme in gastrointestinal disorders to Nurses and Allied Healthcare Practitioners. She is involved in national research leadership through her work as an Expert Nurse Advisor for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, Steering Committee Member for the James Lind Alliance, and member of the British Society of Gastroenterology Pancreas Clinical Research Group and Pancreato-biliary committee. In 2021, Stacey was awarded a Manchester Foundation Trust Charity Fellowship to fund a PhD and complete a research project to explore the experiences of patients with pancreatitis
