Hadijat Ige
Biography | I was born and raised in Nigeria, where I completed my undergraduate degree before moving to the United Kingdom. I hold a bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria, and a Master's degree in Public Health and Project Management from the Universities of Sheffield and Salford, respectively. I have been working in the field of public health for over a decade, facilitating a safe and supportive environment to improve health. Before my current full-time research study at the University of Salford, I was a Programme Manager for a State Emergency on Maternal and Child Health Intervention Centre in Nigeria. My main goal is to contribute to the world by constantly seeking and providing ways to improve health and advocate for those who have been deprived. |

Research Interests | My research interests are in the field of maternal health. Currently, I am working on my PhD thesis at the University of Salford. My research focuses on assessing the potential of integrating the use of mobile applications by service users into the existing antenatal care services of developing countries. The main goal of my research is to enhance access to maternal health services in Africa. |
