Biography Esraa's journey in academia has been marked by a profound dedication to advancing urban planning research. Over the course of seven years, Esraa has held various roles in higher education institutions, including prestigious establishments like Ain Shams University in Egypt and Salford University in the UK. Throughout her career, Esraa's passion for unraveling the complexities of urban planning and climate change has remained unwavering.

Esraa's academic contributions extend beyond research to teaching and mentoring. As a teaching assistant and lecturer assistant, she played a vital role in delivering engaging lectures on topics ranging from environmental urban planning to GIS and remote sensing modules. Esraa's commitment to providing students with a comprehensive education, combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications, has been a hallmark of her teaching philosophy.

During her tenure at the University of Salford, Esraa actively engaged in several research projects, demonstrating her versatility and expertise in addressing pressing urban planning challenges. Notably, she contributed to the AHRC-funded CRAFT project, focusing on the potential impact of climate change on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in coastal cities. Additionally, Esraa played a key role in the development of innovative engineering curricula as part of the UK British Council-funded initiative, "Co-create GUI Engineering Curriculum for the 21st Century (CRUISE)."
