Mrs Vicky Leach

Biography	In my early career I worked in the field of Health & Safety gaining the qualifications and experience needed to achieve chartered status (CMIOSH). I predominately worked in the FE sector supporting educational establishments to improve health and safety standards. Whilst working in FE I found that I thrived when interacting with students and embarked on a career change which led me to seek pastoral roles. I have spent the last decade mentoring students in the FE sector gaining expertise in the fields of engagement and retention. I am continuing this work as a member of the Student Progression Advice (SPA) team in the School of Science, Engineering and Environment.
