Dr. Suhad Almuktar is a dedicated lecturer and accomplished researcher with over ten years of experience in civil engineering education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Known for delivering engaging and impactful instruction, she has successfully supervised numerous Bachelor's and Master’s theses, fostering academic excellence and research capabilities among her students. Dr. Almuktar is a prolific scholar, having authored four book chapters and published more than thirty articles in leading peer-reviewed journals. Her commitment to innovation in the field is demonstrated by her receipt of a U.S. patent. As an active member of the global academic community, she has presented her research at more than eighteen international conferences, solidifying her reputation as a thought leader in civil engineering.

Project manager for the CAMELLIA project, funded from Natural Environmental Research Council (NERC) under grant No P72068 and coordinated by Imperial College London, UK. The main duties
are including management of the project team at Imperial and their interaction with the project collaborators and project partners; including planning and organization of travel, meetings, and training activities; internal and external reporting; maintaining external communication and visibility (e.g., website and social media); developing narratives on and evaluations of the impact of the CAMELLIA work programme. As a project manager and coordinator, Dr Almuktar was a part of the Environment and Water Resources (EWRE) section in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, responsible for project management and administrative support of the Natural Environmental Research Council (NERC) funded project Community Water Management for a Liveable London (CAMELLIA). https://www.camelliawater.org/management
Oct2020-Oct2022 Project Data Manager and Data Officer:
Project data manager for the WATERAGRI project, funded from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 858735 and coordinated by Lund University, Sweden. The main duties were defining stakeholder specific knowledge targets, set up a
knowledge road map in term of operational outline describing all knowledge gaining, sharing/transferring, utilization, conservation, and assessment processes, developing the knowledge portfolios of the project partners, and outline a project knowledge map with systemic mapping of all relevant internal and external knowledge. As a project data manager and data officer, Dr Almuktar established the project data management plan (DMP) for the different types of data generated and used in the project in compliance with the Horizon 2020 Open Access policy as a guidance on how the different types of data can be exploited and/or made accessible for verification and re-use, as well as how it will be handled and preserved throughout the entire data management life cycle ensuring a level of uniformity and alignment between the project partners’ practices. https://wateragri.eu/project-partners/management-support-team/
Oct2020-Oct2022 Project Quality Manager:
Project quality manager for the WATERAGRI project, funded from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 858735 and coordinated by Lund
University, Sweden. The main duties were managing the scientific and technical content in cooperation with the project work packages leaders ensuring of high-quality project outcomes. Dr Almuktar key role was to monitor the technical content for the work packages, verifying the content of all deliverables belonging to scientific activities; and controlling the execution of the technical and scientific tasks, comparing objectives against results, and defining preventive or corrective measures to avoid major deviations from the work plan. Moreover, Dr Almuktar was responsible for verify that all technical and scientific activities performed are within the scope of the project; checking that the organization of the work leads to attainable results in time; and propose sound methodologies for the development of the coordination activities.
