Project Description
The Centre will be unique: the first doctoral programme in aural diversity in the world. Existing DTCs are quite far removed from this proposal thematically. There are EU doctoral networks focussed on hearing aid development (ICANHEAR), the effects of music on sleep (Lullabyte) network audio processing (SOUNDS) and aircraft cabin acoustics (NO2NOISE). There are no current UKRI DTCs focussing on sound, music, hearing or acoustics.
