Project Description
The Diabetic Footwear Revolution is the application of a recently invented technology, "Polymorphic Moulding", to an unmet clinical need currently costing the NHS over £1bn/year. By producing superior (yet cheaper) custom-made shoes for patients with diabetes, we will improve lives, save lives and save the NHS valuable time and money.
As sub-contractors on this large (£998k) bid, Salford will deliver a literature review and physical testing of early prototypes.
