An investigation into the use of the Dermstat for the assessment of the hydration of the foot skin

Project Description

A small investigation (approximately 30 participants) undertaken within the University of Salford Podiatry clinic with the assistance of undergraduate students. A commercially available skin hydration measurement device will be used on the foot skin alongside a gold-standard hydration measurement tool, as well as several non-invasive measures of skin hardness, elasticity and surface texture.
