Project Description

Phytochemicals, which are bioactive compounds derived from plants, can potentially possess anti-cancer properties. Our recent extraction of phytochemicals from Astragalus angustifolius revealed promising characteristics: notably, it demonstrates significantly lower levels of cell toxicity in normal cell lines compared to their impact on breast cancer cell lines. This study seeks to explore the cytotoxic effects of this compound across a spectrum of normal and medulloblastoma cell lines.
