Roma Connections I ran from 2022-23 and used performing arts as a basis for personal growth with Roma families in Oldham. A team from the University of Salford led by Professor Mike Hardman oversaw the research element. The proposal for a follow on will focus in depth on the use of illustration animation, digital storytelling and/or languages with the aim of encouraging Roma women to improve their communication and articulation skills [including improved English literacy
