Abstract
Keynote lecture given at June 2019 International Haiku Conference, St Albans, organised by British Haiku Society, focussing on first discussing and then giving participants an experiential awareness of issues involved in haiku translation and of giving particularly monoglot participants an awareness of the different qualities and forms that may dominate when translating poetry into another languages.
