Abstract

A translation into English of a piece of prose by the Italian writer Curzio Malaparte. The translation forms part of a publication commissioned by the Gagosian Gallery, New York, to commemorate an exhibition of the work of the artist Cy Twombley held at Malaparte's villa on the island of Capri in 2015.
