Abstract

This CD project is volume 2 of my research into pieces of music played and composed during the era of the American Civial War in both the USA and the UK. Many of the pieces have not been played for over 100 years. Many of the composers of these trombone solos would have had some connection to Sousa and his band or the British Brass Band contesting circuit.
