Abstract
The project is designed to provide a novel, creative approach to the redevelopment
of a masters-level research methods module. A learning resource pack will be
developed consisting of a reader and a series of time-limited CD-ROMs, each of
which would contain master-class session materials and guided reading. These
Multi-media resources will be created, applied and evaluated, with the intention of
providing an effective educational experience and promoting a questioning,
discovery-based culture of student-centred learning. The development is focused
upon preparing students to develop questions to be solved before, during, or after a
series of master-classes. A safe learning environment is offered which is also tailored
to the individual student’s learning style and circumstances.
