Abstract

The Czech version of the Workplace Accommodations, Benefits, Policies and Practices Scale (WABPPS) has been forward and backward translated, linguistically and culturally adapted and reviewed by an expert panel (including patient research partners and rheumatology health professionals). The research team was led by Hana Smucrova, rheumatology occupational therapist, Institute of Rheumatology, Prague Czech Republic, and Prof Alison Hammond, School of Health & Society, University of Salford, UK.
The Czech version of the WABPPS has not been tested in the Czech Republic. A British English version of the WABPPS has been tested in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, axial spondyloarthritis and fibromyalgia. Concurrent validity was acceptable. Internal consistency was consistent with group. Test-retest reliability was excellent. The British-English version of the WABPPS is reliable and valid and can be used in both research, organizational studies and rehabilitation.
