The introduction of endoscopic conduit harvesting has been a big advance in patient centred care in the surgical revascularisation of patients with coronary artery disease. Like the introduction of all new technology there has been a wide variation in its adoption among teams depending on many factors. The closed tunnel approach was the original technique and has a lot of literature supporting it partly because it has the largest market share of these devices in America. This chapter covers the key steps in using this technique safely and covers both saphenous vein and radial artery harvesting. All new teams and individuals are recommended that they follow the recommended standards from the previous chapter in order to achieve a high quality conduit along with the excellent short term outcomes of this technique.
