Abstract
The utilisation of technology to support managerial innovation (MI) within core business operations can present opportunities for growth and continuity, since integrating technological advances within MI can help to underpin the development of a success-oriented approach for redefining the existing management practices within the context of technology adoption. MI provides a general framework for reframing the management approach of business activities with technology integration. Therefore, in the context of addressing the increasing costs in the global economy, this chapter discusses MI as an approach for interconnecting the subjects (organisational strategies, processes, policies, and regulations), objects (individuals responsible for performing their roles within the scope of the subjects of MI), and tools (linking the interaction between the subjects and objects by deploying a technology approach adopted for fostering innovation in the business model).
