Abstract

Year 4 of Cathedral School of St Peter & St John Primary composed this piece of music using the app Paynter. It was performed in the school hall on 17th May 2019 by a chamber ensemble from the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, from a score arranged by Professor Alan Williams. The music tells the story of a cartoon Cat and Bird. The performance was accompanied by slides showing some of the screenshots and graphic scores made by the pupils.
