This is a short film by the University of Salford Press Office about the Paynter app and its use in a composition project with Year 2 and 4 pupils of Cathedral School of St Peter and St John and members of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. Adam Hart (Lecturer in Music Technology, University of Salford), Alison Ginns (Lead Practitioner, Cathedral School) and Alan Williams (Professor of Collaborative Composition, University of Salford) are interviewed about the project, before some excerpts of the performance are shown. The filming and concert took place on 17/05/19 and the film was uploaded to the University of Salford YouTube account on 21/05/19.
