Dr Saad Yousif

Biography	Graduated from Baghdad University with a BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering followed by an MSc in Transportation Engineering. Worked on building construction sites before moving on to designing and constructing one of the major highway projects (expressways) in Iraq in the 1980's. Obtained a PhD in Traffic Engineering from the University of Wales, Cardiff while working on a grant funded project for the Department for Transport and TRL. Currently, a Senior Lecturer in Transport Studies and previously was Programme Leader for the MSc in Transport Engineering & Planning at the University of Salford, UK.
Research Interests	Transport Engineering and Planning, Traffic Engineering, Developing Traffic Simulation Models
Teaching and Learning	Involved in teaching Transport related modules. Supervising UG/PG dissertations.
