Dr Julie Morton
Biography | I worked in adult care before qualifying as a social worker in mental health. I am the Placements Lead for the Directorate and have previously been the Lead for Internationalisation and Academic Quality. I have led the development of postgraduate programmes and worked with regulatory bodies on the approval of programmes. I work with the Greater Manchester Social Work Academy on improving the opportunities for social work students on placement. I am a member of the REF panel and the School Research Ethics Committee (Research). |

Teaching and Learning | I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I am an Accredited Practice Teacher for social work. I have taught on the following modules: Law Equality and Diversity Safeguarding Decision-making Consolidation of Professional Practice (CPD) I currently teach Research Ethics at School level and lead the social work research module on the Masters programme. |
