| Project Description | Despite the wealth of literature on the needs of foster carers and its effect on foster carers, foster placement stability, child outcomes and foster carer retention, very little attention has been focused on investigating support required by foster carers of sexually abused children. Given the negative impact this has on cared for children such as placement breakdown, this research aims to investigate support required by foster carers in meeting their needs which will ultimately impact on achieving positive outcomes for the children in their care |
