Mrs Aileen Kelly
| Biography | After graduating from Liverpool John Moores University with a degree in Fine Art in 1992, I worked in the Heritage Sector for eleven years as an assistant paper conservator. In 2003, I returned to full time education, completing an MA course in Surface Pattern Design at the University of Central Lancashire in 2005. Following the MA, I successfully applied for a two-year residency at the Department of Textiles & Paper at The University of Manchester. The residency, supported by Arts Council England, North West, enabled me to explore digital textile printing, which ultimately led to PhD research into colour management and colour accuracy issues for digital textile printing in Higher Education. I joined the University of Salford in 2010 as an hourly paid lecturer in Critical & Contextual Studies, becoming a full time member of the Critical & Contextual Studies Team in 2014. I am now part of the BA (Hons) Photography team. |
